WARRANTY
We highly recommend making a definitive product selection in person at your local dealer. It is extremely difficult to see the true color range and textures of our materials in catalog print or web media.
Transferable Lifetime Warranty
Kennedy Blue Mountain Stone Inc. (KBMS) offers a transferable lifetime warranty on the structural integrity of all Kennedy products properly installed in a residential setting. If a product is determined to be defective due to a manufacturing issue/occurrence, KBMS will provide replacements equal to the amount of square footage/number of defective units. The replacement product will be the closest equal in size, shape, and color offered by KBMS at that time. KBMS will not be held responsible for color match of replaced products. Replacement products alone will be free of cost - this does not include freight, haul out of, or labor to replace defective products. KBMS cannot be held responsible for installation or defects in products caused by abuse or improper installation, freeze/thaw shifting, site conditions, efflorescence, deicing salts, or an act of God.
Do not install products if there seems to be an issue; contact your Kennedy dealer with the details and a Kennedy representative will inspect the product if necessary. A proof of purchase must be present along with a warranty claim form.
Efflorescence
Efflorescence is a white haze or powder appearance on concrete and masonry products. It does fade naturally with time, typically 12-24 months. KBMS accepts no responsibility for the appearance of efflorescence.
Fire Pits & Fire Pit Caps
Kennedy Blue Mountain Stone Inc. offers metal safety rings with all fire pits for your safety and the long-term performance of KBMS products. Fire pits must be lined with a metal ring, fire-rated brick and mortar, or a smokeless insert. Caps and wall units will not be warrantied when excessive fires cause damage; it is suggested to have a fire burn at a minimum of 6” back from the rear of caps. Our caps are not fire-rated and will break down when constantly burned.
